We are looking for self-motivated interns with a positive attitude and a good work ethic, who would like to work on a 24 acre Specialty Hay and Koi farm. Responsibilities may include soil preparation, planting, weeding, harvesting, irrigation, seed cleaning, working on basic farm infrastructure (helping build fences, hoophouse, etc), and other farm activities. We offer lunch, produce to take home when in harvest, and basic season is from March through November, but we will consider anyone willing to work hard, take initiative, and be responsible. We also may offer some work during the off season. This internship is experiential and will focus on hands-on application of sustainable and organic agriculture practices. Hourly pay is 8.00 per hour paid weekly.
